Joel D. Slaughter

President  

     Joel D. Slaughter is the president of C.U. Enterprises.  He started the company in 1997.  Mr. Slaughter served in the U.S. Army Military Intelligence Corp as an Intelligence and Security Special Agent.  His 20-year career in intelligence and security has distinguished him as a leader in the security industry.   During his career he served with the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command and the Defense Intelligence Agency.  Mr. Slaughter earned his BA in Criminal Justice and Latin American Studies from the University of Maryland, College Park, Maryland.  He earned his MBA from Webster University, St. Louis, Missouri. 

     Mr. Slaughter’s experience in security management includes asset/executive protection, force protection, loss prevention, security force management, and the securing of facilities, assets, equipment, and personnel.  He has provided his expertise to public and private companies throughout the United States, Europe, Central, and South America.    He is a skilled crisis manager and business continuity planner.  He speaks fluent Spanish.  His expertise encompasses:
